Abby Artmann

Abby is an experienced educator and school leader with a diverse background in both domestic and international education settings. She has served in administrative roles at a Christian international school in Costa Rica, where she gained valuable experience supporting school operations, academic programs, and faculty development within a global learning environment.

She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelors in Developmental Psychology from Duke University. She brings both a strong foundation in instructional practice across core subject areas and a deep understanding of developmental stages, which hones her instructional practices to each child. Abby is a certified generalist for grades 4–8, with particular expertise in Mathematics and English Language Arts. She also holds ESL certification, equipping her to support multilingual learners and diverse classroom communities.

Outside of her professional work, Abby is an avid reader and values an active lifestyle. Her favorite books include Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson and The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis, reflecting her interest in complex characters, moral questions, and thoughtful storytelling.


Louis Ontko

Louis is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and composer who teaches guitar, bass, voice and piano. He has over 30 years of experience, instructing students of all ages in a wide variety of styles from folk to rock and jazz, along with theory, composition and songwriting. His goal is to empower music students on their path of discovery. As a musician in the Austin community, he’s played venues including Jack and Ginger’s, the Enchanted Forest, Salt Lick Driftwood, Wild Flower Coffee House, Art Outside and AlleOveUs Fest. He was a regular featured cover artist at Maggies Mae’s on 6th St. and the Downtown Hall of Fame. He has toured as a guitarist and vocalist in Italy, Mexico, Spain and Canada, and traveled the southwest U.S. during college as lead guitar for a cover band. Louis and his wife reside in Driftwood where they live a faith based life close to nature and to God, always seeking to live in accordance with Christian values.
